I want you to step back and look at your life in a slightly different view. Imagine your life as a company, and you are the CEO. Now, how have you been running your company?
Let’s first take a look at what the role of a CEO is. A CEO is the Chief Executive Officer with the ability and the authority to make the executive decisions of an organization or business. So as the CEO of your life, you get to make all the important decisions in it. You are 100% responsible for your life, whether it be your happiness, your wealth or your health. And in every company, there are many different departments; marketing, finance, etc. Look at your life departments, i.e. your life wheel – Career, Finance, Personal Growth, Health, Family, Relationships, Social Life, Attitude, and check what the statuses of these departments are.
Many people don’t realise that all departments need to perform at the peak level together to have the best results. You can’t focus on one or two departments only and neglect the rest. The departments in the company exist to serve a particular function, which contribute to the company’s success. Have you seen companies which lack marketing and then fail because people do not know about it? Or companies that neglect proper training which leads to staff lacking the necessary skills to be operating at an optimal level?
In your life departments you cannot neglect, say, the Health or Personal Growth departments and expect your life to be thriving. If you put no focus into your health, I am positive that you will have health issues which can greatly affect your life. If you neglect any personal growth, then you are actually going backwards, because in life, there is no standing still. Are there any areas in your life that you are neglecting? Is there anything you can do about them?
As the CEO of your life, you get to choose who surround yourself with. You get to choose your board members. You get to choose who you listen to whether it is people that believe in your or people that don’t believe in you. You have the power to turn your company around and lead it to success no matter what state it is in because you are the CEO.
So think about this concept and look at the way your life is today. How are you performing as CEO of your company? Are you leading your company to success? Are you constantly improving and growing your company? What is the mission and vision of your company? Are you clear on your purpose and your life goals and consistently focused on working in that direction? Are you working on hitting your long and short term goals? Are you investing in the best training for your company? What should you do or implement today so that you can bring your company to the top?
When you are performing as the best CEO you can be, you will create a ripple effect through all the departments and your life will soar and surpass anything you could ever imagine.
