What can be more than consistency?


Reflecting today on the group, and what I wanted to share with everyone when I first started. I wanted to share and help people with what I’ve learnt that’s made a difference in my life so that you too can use and try it for yourself to see if it works for you or not too.


One of the things I’ve learnt and seen that’s been a great success to those around me in whatever they wanted to achieve was consistency. It’s about doing what you need to do on the daily or weekly basis to achieve the outcome that you set out. It could be losing weight and making sure you go to the gym four times a week. Whatever it is, it was about doing it consistently over a long period of time.


What I’ve learnt is that it’s much more than that too. What makes the difference and sets people apart is that you show up when you don’t want to. You’re doing what you need to do, when you don’t feel like it, when you’re not in the mood. Those are the times that seem to count the most. Those are the times you grow the most. Well that’s what I’ve seen in myself personally.


So doing the 49 day post was about being consistent. Doing what’s needed to be done day in and day out. There are times when I get home late and I’m just exhausted and want to head off to bed. I show up and make sure I put in what I said I’d commit to doing. It’s so much more than that too. If I’m able to brighten up your day, give you value and helped you in some way then I need to make sure I can prove to you that I can stick to my words and keep doing the work that’s necessary to ensure we’re all growing and expanding together.
